History

The Government Industrial Training Institute, Paplog, District Mandi (H.P.) was established in the year 2000 vide Government Notification No. EDN(TE)/A/4/5/99-Loose dated 21/09/2000 alongwith 02 (Nos.) of trades namely Plumber and Dress Making in the rented building.
In the years 2009-2010 this Industrial Training Institute was covered under Central sponsored Scheme i.e. PPP Mode (Public Private Partnership).
In the year 2012-2013 the 04 (Nos.) new trades were started namely Welder (02 Units), Fitter (2 Units), Electronics Mechanic (02 Units) and Electrician (02 Units).
In the year 2013-2014 the 02 new trades namely SOT (Emb.) (02 Units) and Mechanic Motor Vehicle (03 Units) were started.
In the year 2022-2023 the 01 new trade IToT (CITS) Mechanic Motor Vehicle was started.
Presently the institute have running 21 Nos. of different trades Units namely Fitter (03 units), Electronics Mechanic (02 Units), Electrician (06 Units), Mechanic Motor Vehicle (02 Units), Dress Making (02 Units), Plumber (02 Units), Welder (02 Units), Surface Ornamentation Techniques (Emb.) (01 Unit) and Basic Cosmetology (01 Unit).
